meet my little girl!!!
actually... it's my kuya's little girl. ahahaha. my cousin, bong, an engineer in a suburb of new haven, connecticut, is now a dad. it's a creepy prospect. coz it's a girl! it's a girl! like me! yay!!!! ahahahahaha -
oh, the stories i can tell. "when your dad was a kid, he'd visit my house in diliman and not say a word to me. he'd just go straight for my books. isn't that rude? and then he and his brother would run around the house teasing me nonstop. it's coz i'm a girl and our other cousins were boys too, and they've never seen a girl before."

i think emily is my first niece here in the u.s. all the others were boys, too. ahahahaha.
and so now it's doubly important we work toward a more collective asian american, more so, filipino-american experience around here. ahahahaha... ahh dammit it's real now. but i'm totally happy for my cousins. i gotta find out when the christening is. yay, k bong!!! it's about time. ¶ 11/08/2005 10:23:00 PM
