chloe won! chloe won! i totally, TOTALLY liked chloe dao from day one! not only is she talented, but she is sensible and sensitive to what makes a good person. "that's much more important than a good designer," she once sobbed in the back room when one of her designer friends got booted out.

and she won season two of project runway! yay! yay! i'm hella happy.

what i really like about project runway is that it's set in new york city... i mean, even though it's set in new york city, there is a very tangible sensibility that this is just a show. ahahaha. there's always behind the scene shots, sewing, cutting, drawing, machines breaking, emotional drama; they show coaching, rebuking, pressure, the catch in every reward. they show the important things in life - i think for olympus fashion week, the show invites the designers' family and friends.

and so when chloe said that this was her fantasy collection, i totally agree - i'm sure many others have an idea where to wear this number:



but i surely don't, so if you know of such a place, let me know coz imma wear that pink beauty in a heartbeat.

which was also in her runway finale collection - i totally like how well-sewn and sleek and shiny these two dresses are! she is totally into patterns and heavy fabric, and i also soooooooo like this one:



this one i could totally wear to a spring garden party, doncha think? so sweet. i can't wait till she opens her boutique. which reminds me that season 1 winner jay mccarroll should have a store somewhere in new york now... ahaha, there's no way i could afford any of these pieces... now... but it's always good to play pretend. hehehehe  ¶ 3/10/2006 03:33:00 AM
