movie vs. film a friend raised the issue of whether it's better to call a series of moving pictures that tell a story "film" or "movie."

i want to want a movie:

pinoy/blonde
syriana
chronicles of narnia
munich
the constant gardener
the great raid
the corpse bride
march of the penguins
poet of the wastes
harry potter and the goblet of fire
charlie and the chocolate factory
innocence
